Ski-Train Service May Be Re-Started
And I bet some of you didn’t even know the Ski Train had shut down.
But yesterday the Denver Post reported the company that runs the Alamosa-based San Luis & Rio Grande Railroad is expressing an interest in taking over the Ski Train service. Apparently the San Luis & Rio Grande Railroad train cars sit largely idle during the winter and obviously running them to Winter Park during that time could be a great way to keep them making money.
