The boys from gayzette were in attendance at Denver’s newest gay bar Swallows (formerly Kiva) for a viewing party of the premiere of season 2 of RuPaul’s Drag Race.  (The boys from gayzette raved about the food even if I can’t tell what this photo is supposed to be but it looks fatty whatever it [...]

Photos From Drama Drag’s “Drag Race” Cast Reunion Show

January 31st, 2010

Didn’t make it to last Friday’s Drama Drag show at EXDO/Tracks?  Neither did I, but friend of ELEMENT Daniel Alvarez went and was generous enough to send in some photos for me to post!  In case you’re wondering why there aren’t any pics of Shannel or Akasha performing it’s because Mr. Alvarez isn’t a fan [...]

January 13th, 2010

I was walking past Mary’s this morning (long story, don’t ask) when I noticed a huge banner advertising drag queen bingo.  That got me thinking, there’s 4 bars in Denver doing bingo now.

Tuesday – Rich from gayzette does bingo at Charlie’s.  En lieu of drag queens he has strippers apparently.

Tuesday – Drag bingo at Hamburger [...]

December 2nd, 2009

In preparation for Bebe’s visit to Denver last week I was poking around RuPaul’s Drag Race website and found a trailer for season 2 which begins in February.  Sadly it doesn’t appear that any of the queens are from Denver.

Drag Queen Sings National Anthem At MLB Game

October 6th, 2009

Normally I try and keep things as local as possible on the blog (unless it’s a national political issue) but regular readers will know I’m partial to drag queens.  Bear blogger Joe.My.God out of NYC is reporting San Francisco drag queen Donna Sachet recently became the first queen to sing the national anthem at a [...]

Pics From Last Weekend’s Drama Drag Show At Tracks

September 28th, 2009

Element staffer Tom attended the show Friday night where Shannel (the Vegas one) from Ru Paul’s Drag Race was the guest of honor.  Tom emailed me that he spent much of the evening shouting “I love you” at Nina and Shannel till he lost his voice, but he did manage to take some photos while [...]
